The SDEC 132kW Diesel Engine (4HTAA4.3-G22) is an inline 4-cylinder G-Drive engine engineered for commercial prime and standby power generation. Configured for 125kVA to 137.5kVA generator packages, this 4.3L HT Series model utilises an electronic speed governor and a turbocharged, air-to-air aftercooled induction layout to handle variable electrical demands.

Maximising Power

The 4HTAA4.3-G22 utilises its 4.3L displacement alongside a turbocharger and an active air-to-air charge-air aftercooler. By lowering the temperature of the intake air before it reaches the cylinders, this design significantly increases oxygen density and combustion efficiency. This ensures that when commercial electrical loads or equipment switch on simultaneously, the engine recovers its speed immediately to counter transient frequency drops.

Thermal Management

To withstand demanding thermal variations and prevent overheating, this engine relies on a cross-flow cylinder head geometry. This design isolates extreme operational stress points to distribute thermal loads evenly across the block, preventing structural warping. Multi channel internal water jackets circulate coolant directly through critical high heat areas, maximising field availability when local grids fail.

A high strength cast-iron block and an integrated cylinder head, ensure this engine is optimised to endure continuous duty cycles. The overhead 4-valve per cylinder arrangement ensures optimal fuel atomisation and precise torque delivery, giving local generator builders and engineers a highly dependable option for commercial and industrial infrastructure.
